For those of you wondering, what is Patreon, here’s a quick run down:
What is Patreon?
Patreon is a service that allows people to support creators, whether that’s writers or vloggers, designers or creatives.
In return, those supporters get access to rewards. For us, these start with our Patreon exclusive commentary (which will most likely be our thoughts on happenings in the industry, a more instant view than you get from us on the blog, and some more personal insights) and run right up to some BCLC merchandise which we will soon reveal!
If someone wants to support the work we’re doing, they can become a patron for Big Cup Little Cup. Our tiers (which are, as yet, unnamed – we’re taking suggestions!) start at just $1 and run up to $50 at the moment.
Why do we a have a Patreon?
Since the last couple of months of 2017, we’ve been thinking about launching Patreon, putting ideas into action to see what would work for us. The honest reason behind this is that running a lingerie blog can be expensive. We put not only huge amounts of time and effort into it, but also funds. We’ve purchased lingerie, camera equipment, blog designs and hosting…the list goes on. We’ll be publishing another post later today that goes into more depth on how you can support us, but this is a brief overview.
Our goal is to get our blog in front of more eyes. We know that customers like to see the lingerie they’re buying on different body types and shapes, and that’s why we share photos of ourselves wearing bras and other items – so that people can see others like themselves wearing the pieces they want to buy.
Our ethos has always been that beautiful, well fitting and comfortable lingerie should be for everyone; to give people the confidence to buy and wear lingerie whatever their body looks like. By getting more people to see this, we can have more of an influence.
And by supporting us, you can help this happen.
In addition to this, we also have a lot of additional content and ideas to share with you, and we feel like Patreon would be an awesome platform to do so!
What will I get in return?
Every tiny donation helps us, whether that’s a dollar towards our time spent writing or $50 towards a piece of new lingerie to review
