Ewa Michalak is a brand that I’ve personally loved for a really long time. When I first discovered that the 32DDs and 34Ds I’d been wearing really didn’t fit me, I turned to the internet for help.
The first brand I came across was Curvy Kate and I loved that they had cute and fun designs, but at that time, they were a smaller company and the ones that fit me were mainly soft cups. Being brought up on padded bras and moulded cups, I still craved the security of them. And that’s how I discovered Ewa Michalak – through the world of Reddit’s A Bra That Fits and the online bra fitting community.
Ewa Michalak are a small Polish company run by and with designs made by Ewa herself and some bras even shown on her sister as a model. They boast a huge size range starting at 28 bands (although 24 and 26 can be custom made) up to 60, with cups going from a AA up to a P. They are renowned in the bra fitting world for having more narrow wires than most British brands, meaning that they fit the small band, larger busted among us very well.
I was immediately taken by her designs as they stood out to me in the full bust world. In the DD+ world just 5 or 6 years ago, options were much more limited than they are today – you were hard-pushed to find something well fitting that was on trend or different from the standard beige T shirt bra or lacey full cup. But Ewa Michalak was already pushing those boundaries, so my first couple of bras from them combined a gorgeous seamed foam half cup, push up shape with black lace and corset-style ribbon at the gore.
Over the years, Ewa Michalak have popped up several times on the blog in both Big Cup and Little Cup reviews, including a joint one, a sleep bra and even a bra designed to look like a bralette but with the support of a proper bra. I have to admit that I have a few favourites that haven’t managed to make it to the blog too – I should catch up with those sometime! I haven’t yet found a Ewa Michalak bra that I don’t like or that doesn’t fit me – they’ve always become favourites in my bradrobe, being pulled out again and again until they’re worn to death.
Ewa Michalak have recently released a new collection of bras for the current season, and we just had to share these with you. I’m personally a massive fan of the SM Tattoo which is delicate and pretty, appealing to the current trend embroidery and illusion tulle but in a full bust shape. The SF (“semi-soft”, ie. half-padded, half-soft) bras appear to be very popular in this collection and I’m really happy to see the return of my favourite shape, the CHP (a padded half cup with vertical seams) in the Promyczek.
The collection also features a new pink version of the crop top sleep bra I’ve reviewed; a few SF bras, one in blue lace, one a super summery coral lace and floral bra; the Niebieskie Migdały – an ivory and blue padded style that would be perfect as a bridal bra (incorporating the “something blue”!); and the super sultry Tango in red and black with corset accents.
Even better, these bra styles are currently reduced on an introductory offer up to as much as 60PLN (around £13) off certain ones until the end of the day today!
Also note that they’ve recently designed a range of nude bras for darker skin tones too for some stores in the Netherlands, Canada and USA which is amazing to see in the full bust world too!

EM 60 (28) band is custom order only, sadly.
That’s true, but I wear a 28 band normally and find their 65s in most ranges to measure much closer to a 28 fortunately!
I have to custom order 60GG, perhaps I might need 26 in other brands?
